Feeling Self Concious In The Gym...Just Get Over It

imagine how self conscious you will feel on the beach

The amount of people [especially women] we speak to at Ukmedix News who say they feel self conscious so they wont go to a gym never ceases to amaze us!  Many women have this idea that the other people working out in the gym actually give a damn about your size and your shape, and even if they did so bloody well what!!?

feeling self concious in the gym...just get over it

If you feel self conscious in the gym just imagine how self conscious you will feel on the beach if you dont go!  You should keep a mental images of yourself on the beach looking slim and also looking overweight as a double motivation to keep working out and not giving a damn about what anyone else thinks and does in the gym.

We have often argued at Ukmedix News that losing weight is a psychological battle and motivating yourself to work out is not only important but essential. If you find that you are always making excuses about the failure of your diet plans and exercise routines the problem probably lies deep within you rather than because of external influences. If there's a real determination and desire to lose weight and to maintain weight loss you will be able to overcome even the most difficult of obstacles.

If you need help with weight loss Ukmedix can help. You can have an online weight loss consultation with a doctor, you can discuss hundreds of different weight loss issues on the Ukmedix Forum and lastly you can read thousands of news articles about new research, obesity issues and diet tips at Ukmedix News.

So get on it!

I think this is a silly excuse because you meet all types and sizes at the gym, there will always be people smaller than you and larger than you. I would put it down to laziness!

i go to the gym pretty much everyday and i do critise women whether they are skiny or chubby! it is just the way life is...however, if you live by what people think about you, you will never get anywhere in life.
