FDA Warns About Pai You Guo Weight Loss Supplement

Not only was the chemical phenolphthalein found in the product but also sibutramine which is the active ingredient of the completely legal prescription diet medication Reductil. Phenolphthalein which is sometimes used as a solution for chemical experiments and was once used as a laxative is now completely banned because it is suspected to be carcinogenic.

The weight loss drug Reductil which is manufactured by the drug company Roche is actually an effective and safe prescription appetite suppressant but it must not be taken by certain individuals especially those who have a history of heart problems.

The Food & Drug Administration said that Pai You Guo was sold in boxes of box of 30 capsules or in bags of 10 gram powder packets. They also warned that it was found on the internet and that if you had used it and you were suffering from adverse effects you should immediately report them to the Food & Drug Administration at http://www.fda.gov/medwatch/report.htm . If you have come across this product in the UK you should report any adverse effects online at http://yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk/

Ukmedix News advises that you should only use the weight loss medications Reductil and Xenical. You should definitely not use anything which has not been prescribed to you by a doctor.  Be especially cautious of weight loss medications which purport to be natural, herbal or traditional because in many instances they are not.
