'Fish, fish, fish’ is the new health motto from Desperate Housewives star, Eva Longoria. Eva who is a without a doubt one of the world’s sexiest women claims that she has binned eating red meat and chicken and is only sticking to fish. Eva was recently quoted as saying “it has really affected my body” and that her new fish diet is really working.

Well, there’s no doubt that eating large amounts of fish is good for you. Fish has a lot of protein as well as healthy quantities of Omega-3 fatty acids which are credited with maintaining the health of the heart and other organs around the body. The Mediterranean diet which many health experts say is the world’s best diet requires around three servings of fish weekly.
Fish is low in fat and also has a high satiety value meaning that it makes you feel full up on smaller quantities. Fish is also an extremely tasty and varied food. There are so many different types of fish from the simple ones like cod, haddock and plaice to more exotic shellfish such as lobster, crab and prawns. If you are getting bored of your diet, experimenting with fish can liven it up and keep you from falling off the bandwagon.
Some studies have shown that women who eat more fish when they are pregnant are likely to have more intelligent children than those who eat less. Parents should also consider feeding their children fish on a regular basis to set them up with good eating habits for life.
Eva Longoria, who is married to Tony Parker the professional basketball player, is busy opening her new restaurant in L.A. We are sure that the restaurant which is called Beso will be serving lots and lots of fish!

I’m pregnant and the first thing my gyn told me was to be really careful with fish because of the mercury it contains; so what is real and what is not? Am I suppose do eat fish all the time or is different in pregnant women? In the other hand I don’t think is so good for your body to just eat fish, it can be consider as a unbalance diet specially because your body needs all the nutrients from other kinds of meat.
