Eat Crap...Get Fat

people who eat delicious and good quality nutritional food tend to eat much less

Excuse our language but if you eat rubbish, you will get fat! What do we mean by rubbish? Well, anything which is nutritionally deficient. Examples of nutritionally deficient foods include highly processed foodstuffs full of salt, sugar and chemicals. Things like ready to eat sausages, microwavable burgers, frozen pizzas, cream filled bread products and other instantly eatable items.

eat crap...get fat

It's not just that they have no nutritional value but in the majority of cases they actually taste rubbish too! If you are going to eat sausages you should go and buy some properly made ones from a proper butcher, if you are going to eat a burger go to a proper gourmet burger restaurant or go and buy 100 percent fresh beef and make them yourself and if you want to eat bread go and buy a fresh recently baked loaf.

One of the reasons why people overeat it because they are not sufficiently psychologically satisfied with the food they eat. Some people argue that when food tastes good you will eat more of it but there is plenty of anecdotal advice to show the people who eat delicious and good quality nutritional food tend to eat much less.

It seems such a shame that so many people use up their calorie quota for the day eating food which does not even taste good and has no nutritional value. At least if you are going to overeat make an effort to eat quality food rather than junk.

Take the initiative to look up recipe books and savour the flavour of delicious French or Italian cuisine rather than just fattening yourself up on a processed sausage, burger or muffin. Never forget that the countries which produce the best quality foods also have the lowest rates of obesity. Surveys done in Europe show that the Italian and French people despite the abundance of pizza, pasta, cheese and lots of other fattening delicacies still retain their place as being the thinnest people in the European Union.

Why doesn't the government ban them? In the end the government is going to pay for it by filling up our hospitals with people who ate this unhealthy food without realising it!
