The expression - I am on a diet - should be the first thing that you stop saying if you are serious about losing weight. If you are one of those people who says this a lot herein lies the problem with your weight and you need to take stock of your situation objectively rather than throwing yourself at yet another diet plan and quick fix solution?
The only diet that you should go on is the diet which you will stick to for the rest of your life. This diet will define you and will not give you short term but only one long term result which should be normal weight, good health, longevity, improved mobility and an overall better quality of life.
If you are going to go on a diet, that diet has to be followed for the rest of your life if it is going to have long term results. You might argue that you just need to lose a few pounds for summer but if that is the case you should not have to change your eating habits to do so. All you would need to do is restrict portions a little more than usual and maybe spend a little more time getting exercise.
Even if you have a lot of weight to lose you should not go on a very restricted diet because when you reach your target weight you will be far more likely to start eating unhealthy again. We have always argued at Ukmedix News that maintaining weight loss is a long distance run rather than a short sprint. Ignore this advice and you will end up being fat for most of the rest of your life!
Change your mind to change your body!
