Is 2010 going to be like 2009? Are you going to make lots of New Year’s resolutions to get thin and healthy and then give them up by the end of January? Maybe you shouldn’t bother to try and lose weight if you are going to put it all back on again after a couple of months?

We don’t mean to be cynical at Ukmedix News and we don’t want to dampen your enthusiasm and motivation but we hate to see wasted lives. Overweight and obese individuals are often wasting their lives because their weight prevents them from realising their potential and instead they go through their daily routines being unable to push themselves to the max.
If you are obese you know exactly what we’re talking about. You spend your whole time worrying about how you look and what people think of you instead of focusing on getting ahead in life. Obesity can be soul destroying and after a number of years will dash all your hopes and dreams. We always like to remind our readers at Ukmedix News that they can do something about the problem and that the only obstacle in the way is themselves! If you put aside all your hang ups, complexes and issues and be brutally honest with yourself and your eating habits you’ll find that it really isn’t that complicated to shed the pounds.
Stop believing that you have a medical problem and start believing that you are the master of your own destiny. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and start to focus on how great you’re going to look and feel this time next year. Plan your weight loss sensibly! It’s no point making it more difficult than it needs to be and if you feel weight loss medication like Reductil and Xenical can help you by all means get a prescription for them. There are going to be times over the coming year when you are depressed and demoralised and this is the time when you need to be at your strongest.
Remember your worst ‘obesity moment’ and tell yourself that you’re never going there again! Never believe that you can’t do it!
