Let this case be a warning

A celebrity personal trainer in Los Angeles, Jillian Michaels is being taken to court by a woman who claims that the diet supplements endorsed by her were useless. The supplements called Jillian Michaels Maximum Strength Calorie Control apparently had no effect on reducing her appetite and did not induce any weight loss despite being advertised as being able to do so.

Ms. Christie Christensen lawsuit did not specify the financial damages but said that she had only bought the product because of the Jillian Michaels endorsement and that she had struggled to lose weight all of her life.

Let this case be a warning to anybody out there who is stupid enough to believe that the celebrity endorsements of a weight loss tablet, supplement or pill is worth anything! In fact at Ukmedix News we would advise that a celebrity endorsement of any weight loss product should be construed as a valid reason to completely avoid it.

Since when did the diet advice of a celebrity become more valid than the diet advice of your doctor? If you think that just because somebody is beautiful and famous it somehow means that they have medical and nutritional knowledge about weight loss you are misguided. Another point to consider is that any celebrity who has endorsed a weight loss product is being paid huge amounts of money to do so and therefore their judgment is not impartial.

At Ukmedix News we are prepared to bet that Jillian Michaels never uses this product herself and that she herself knows that healthy eating, regular exercise and a balanced lifestyle are the way forward if you want to get yourself into shape.

The only endorsement you need for weight loss product should come from your doctor and be accompanied by a prescription after a weight loss consultation.

I also got this product because of HER and wasted my money I was mad at her because of what she does for a living and she helps so many people. I believed it would have helped but did not...very disappointed.
