Celebrity Endorsements For Diets Hmmmm

would you go and get financial advice from a celebrity?

At Ukmedix News we are pretty fed up of hearing about how certain diets have been ‘endorsed’ by celebrities. No disrespect intended to celebrities but what on earth do they know about diet and nutrition?  Unfortunately however some people get stars in their eyes and actually listen to what celebrities have to say about their diets and follow them instead of getting proper nutritional advice from a doctor or a certified nutritionist. I mean would you go and get financial advice from a celebrity or advice on acting from your bank manager? The latest diet to get celebrity endorsement is the ridiculously named Harley Pasternak's 5 Factor Diet which has got the supposed thumbs up from Eva Mendes, John Mayer and Alicia Keys to name just a few.

Celebrity Endorsements For Diets Hmmmm

Ukmedix News has had a look at this diet and while there’s nothing really wrong with it, it is one of these overly complicated diets with so many different things to remember that you are surely going to fall off the bandwagon after a couple of weeks. For example you have to remember to eat five different food groups in every single meal which is unrealistic for most working and busy people. Maybe if you have a chef on call 24 hours a day you’d be able to follow this diet.

At Ukmedix News rather than having strict rules on what you are and are not allowed to eat we feel that you should just follow overall diet guidelines which will keep you on the right track.

Keeping it simple, eating lots of fruit and vegetables, getting regular exercise, making sure that you get a good balance of carbohydrates, protein and fibre are all that you need to stay slim. Ukmedix News has seen research which shows that overly complicated eating plans are more likely to make you fail in your weight loss attempts.

So watch out for celebrity endorsements and remember that the only endorsement needed by any diet is yours!

Daily

Five portions vegetables, four fruit,

three complex carbohydrates,

two dairy

one protein = optimum health.

Easy to keep as you can mix them as you like.
