It seems like the world is going crazy just because the supermodel Karolina Kurkova has been reported to have had a tiny bit of cellulite on her bottom. The media reports which originated from Brazil or where she was strutting up and down a catwalk wearing a bikini have been picked up by practically all news agencies around the world.

The media reports said that people were “shocked” when she turned up wearing the bikini and claimed that she had “…back fat, love handles and cellulite". The Ukmedix News Team has extensively studied the photographs of Karolina Kurkova as she modelled the bikinis and can honestly say that the media reports are exaggerated, ridiculous and that Karolina did not have an ounce of excess fat on her.
Ukmedix News believes that the Brazilian media are reporting this event to try and bring attention to the Sao Paulo Fashion Week and that there is no substance whatsoever in the story. At Ukmedix News we suggest that you look at the photographs for yourself so that you can see how exaggerated the stories. Another thing which the Brazilian media should be thinking about is that their reporting is incredibly irresponsible considering that this will have a big effect on women all around the world who are insecure about their body shapes.
Only a couple of years ago a young Brazilian model Ana Carolina Reston who was only 21 years old died of anorexia just before a photoshoot. She had been living on a diet of tomatoes and apples and weighed less than 40 kilos. More recently another model from South America called Eliana Ramos died in the age of 18 from a malnutrition induced heart attack.
Ukmedix News believes that everybody has a part to play in responsible broadcasting of news and this latest story on the so called weight increase of Karolina Kurkova can only have negative implications overall.
Karolina Kurkova is an extremely professional and well paid model and is probably most famous because she is a Victoria's Secret Angel. She also works extensively for Ralph Lauren, Chanel and Oscar de la Renta.
