One of the biggest problems that people face when they are dieting is boredom! How many times have you heard people say that they are sick to death of eating salads and low fat foods? If you are getting bored with the food you are eating you are setting yourself up for diet failure and you should do something about it immediately.

For example, many people losing weight eat a lot of chicken because it is a very lean form of protein and this is a very sensible thing to do. However if you give yourself a boring slab of chicken breast every day, after a week you want to throw the chicken out of the window so you must make that extra effort to spice it up and cook it in different ways. There are hundreds of cookbooks and cookery tips on the internet which will turn your chicken into something you look forward to eating rather than something you dread.
In fact, a good bit of diet advice would be to make sure that you eat something different on every single day of the week. Not only is this a sensible idea from a nutritional point of view but it will make eating fun and enjoyable. Vary your fruit and vegetable intake everyday and allow yourself a small treat every now and again.
You may be one of those people who doesn't like to cook and has no time to prepare healthy low fat meals, but there's no reason why you can't buy a whole load of fresh fruits and vegetables at the supermarket and eat them throughout the week.
At the end of the day losing weight always requires a certain amount of effort from you and if this means that you actually have to cook a little bit and plan ahead rather than just dialing up for pizza you'll just have to do it if you are serious about losing weight.
