The Chinese health authorities are warning that people should not buy or use a slimming medication called Beautiful. They said that the medication was potentially lethal and contained a number of undeclared chemical ingredients. The tablets which are dark brown in colour come in a blister pack which does not explain what the medication really is.

When the tablets had been tested by the relevant Chinese department they were found to contain not only sibutramine which is a prescription medication that is only licensed for sale in Reductil, but also a chemical called phenolphthalein. This phenolphthalein compound is sometimes used to treat people who suffer from constipation and works as a laxative however it has been banned for use because testing has shown that it can initiate cancerous growths.
Sibutramine which is the active ingredient in Reductil is perfectly safe provided it is prescribed to you by doctor and it has been used by thousands of men and women all over the world as a very effective appetite suppressant.
The Chinese health authorities said that they had received reports of a 23 year old woman who was admitted into hospital suffering from poisoning. They claim that she was also mentally disturbed and this could have been linked to the use of the medication. When she stopped taking the tablets her condition improved immediately.
At Ukmedix News our advice is extremely clear. You should never use weight loss supplements or medication of any kind unless they have been given to you by a doctor. There is a growing illegal industry in fake appetite suppressants and diet supplements which prey on the complexes and insecurities of overweight people. There is no magic pill to lose weight and any weight loss medication should always be used in conjunction with healthy diet and exercise.
In the United Kingdom it is possible to buy Reductil, Xenical and Acomplia which are the three weight loss medications licensed by the European Health Authorities and also the relevant British authorities. Using anything else means that you are risking your health as well as possibly using something which is completely ineffective.
