Motivation is definitely the key for weight loss and without it you might as well resign yourself to being overweight or obese for the rest of your life. People who work in the business of sport, [whether it’s boxing, football or tennis] understand this more than any others in that they realise that to get the best out of themselves they need to be motivated and they need support.
Rather than looking at your weight loss attempt as a series of rules and regulations to follow regarding diet you need to be proactive and approach the whole thing as if you were Rocky before a big fight. Set yourself a date a few months down the line, [let’s call it the fight date] and start training and getting fit for this important day. Whenever you are about to order food think of the big day and imagine you are Rocky Balboa who can do anything and beat the hell out of anyone! Train like Rocky in the gym and go the extra mile and make sure that you watch all of his movies for added motivation.
There are times in all of the Rocky movies when he feels depressed and unable to continue but the one unifying factor of every single one is that he never gives up even when he has big setbacks. That should be how you approach weight loss, never giving up and always fighting.
Imagining positive scenarios of losing weight when working out can keep you going for longer and focusing on them when you choose food helps to. Some people respond better to negative scenarios to keep them working out or away from unhealthy food but personally at Ukmedix News we feel the positive and proactive way of thinking is always the best.
So what are you waiting for!? Go Rocky Go!!
