maybe you are falling into one of the bad habits

There are a number of habits which overweight and obese people have which are known to be largely responsible for their weight problems. If you struggle to stay slim you should read the following because maybe you are falling into one of the bad habits and it could be why you are overweight.

Bad Habits Of The Obese

Big plates! Do you like to use a big plate when you eat? Research shows that almost all obese people go for the bigger plates when they are offered two different sizes. Try to go for the smaller plate because it’ll make you eat less and you probably won’t miss the extra food.

Eat slowly!  People who have weight problems tend to chew more quickly and consume their food much faster. Not only this, but overweight people tend to chew each mouthfull less times. You should time yourself so that you eat food slowly; not only will you eat less but you will probably enjoy it more. Another good trick to help you eat slowly is to use chopsticks whenever possible and try and make conversation.

Look carefully before choosing! When faced with a big choice of different foods on a buffet for example overweight people start piling up their plate before they have seen everything. Slimmer individuals however tend to look at everything and then go for the things that they like the most but in smaller quantities.  If you go for quality rather than quantity you will often find yourself just as full up at the end of the meal.

Skipping meals!  You may think you are being virtuous by not having breakfast, lunch or supper but in fact the statistics show that people who skip meals tend to be much more overweight than those who don’t. Skipping meals just makes us chronically hungry and therefore more likely to start over eating and eating unhealthy.

Try to change these bad habits and you might get thin. It could really be that simple.
