No wonder some women suffer from anorexia and eating disorders with the irresponsible attitude that some newspapers and media organizations have when it comes to reporting on celebrity weight loss and weight gain. Instead of keeping a balanced and objective view, they instead sensationalize and distort the truth in order to get catchy headlines and sell papers.

A recent example of this concerns the beautiful model Amber Rose who was lambasted by online media web sites after photographs of her were published going for a run in leopard print leggings. The headlines screamed that that she had eaten too many burgers and that she had a weight problem when in fact she is of a normal and healthy weight. Just because she doesn't look like an underfed stick doesn't mean that she is overweight.
Amber Rose didn't take the criticism lying down and used Twitter to post exactly how much she weighed and how tall she is with the statement "how am I fat?" The media obsession with skinny waif like women plays on the minds of impressionable young women and causes a lot of harm. Even men begin to believe that unless the woman is stick thin there's something wrong with her and they fail to appreciate other body types.
You should be extremely objective about your weight and not let it be ruled by unrealistic images and ideas. Yes, it is important that you are slim and fit if you want to look attractive but if your shape is curvy and voluptuous you should play to your assets and not try and look like something you are not.
Ukmedix News is a great believer in healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle. We have published countless articles showing that it is more important to be healthy then it is to be underweight and that healthy eating will ultimately make you look your best.
