Advice From Paris Hilton, No Thanks

would you go and get legal advice from Paris Hilton

Probably the worst weight loss advice that you can find comes from the mouths of celebrities. For example Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan are definitely not the people to be listening to yet nevertheless whenever they open their mouths and talk about weight loss everybody assumes that what they say is the gospel!

Advice From Paris Hilton, No Thanks

To put it in perspective would you go and get legal advice from Paris Hilton or accounting advice from Angelina Jolie? Obviously not and for the simple reason that they would not know what they were talking about and the same goes for weight loss and dieting.

There are those who argue that because these celebrities are slim they must have some information to part with which is useful and maybe there are snippets of wisdom in what they say, however there is also likely to be a lot of rubbish in there too, and that is why it is best left to professionals. If you want weight loss advice make sure that you get it from somebody who has professional qualifications in this area. A nutritionist or a doctor should always be the first point of call.

Another thing to be aware of is that celebrities tend to live different lives to normal individuals. If you work a regular nine to five job you can’t eat sushi for lunch every day and get your personal trainer to come around every afternoon!  Whatever nutritional and exercise advice you get should be able to fit into your lifestyle easily or you are statistically far more likely to fail.

The most powerful tool you have to lose weight is your own brain and if you don’t use it wisely and you follow the advice of people who don’t know what they’re talking about you will end up struggling to lose weight.
