50 Cent Weight Loss Adds Up To 54lbs

50 Cent is not the only actor to undergo dramatic weight change
The message that comes with the photo of 50 Cent who recently lost a whopping 54lbs so that he could play a part in a film, is that if you really want to lose weight you can! 50 Cent whose proper name is Curtis Jackson went from 214lbs to 160lbs so that he could realistically play a cancer-stricken American football player for the film Things Fall Apart.
50 Cent is not the only actor to have had to undergo dramatic weight change for a film role. We have written about Beyonce, Renée Zellweger, Leonardo DiCaprio and others who have either had to bulk up with muscle, get fatter or get drastically thin. These actors have shown that if you are really committed to weight loss or weight gain you can do it and their efforts show the power of the mind to control eating habits.
50 Cent said that to lose the weight he went on a liquid-only diet which he was already familiar with because he had followed a similar diet when he had been shot in the mouth in 2000. He is now back to a normal healthy weight of around 200lbs. and hopes to stay that way in the future. Obviously actors have huge financial incentives to lose weight for film roles and their contracts stipulate that they must do so in order to get paid. There’s nothing like the power of financial gain to motivate people to lose weight.
Losing weight can actually save you cash. Not only will you get smaller health insurance premiums but you will save on food bills and you are less likely to get sick and require medication. You are also more likely to be productive at work which would lead to pay rises, promotions and bonuses. Research published by Ukmedix News shows that normal weight individuals actually earn more on average than the overweight and obese.
If the above mentioned actors can do it there is no reason why you can’t, so get on it and Be Like Nike…Just Do It!

i agree with shaniqua learn to spell and chill out. i would do whatever i had to to get that money. go get it fifty! im sure it will be a great movie, with a a lot of heartfelt emotion. i commend you. but once its done please gain the weight back! :D

Didn't any of you dopes read the article? He's just about back up to his original weight. He only did this for a film role.
On another note...Sure anyone can lose weight going a liquid diet, but that's not good for you. Yeah, you might lose a lot of weight quickly, but you're not getting the necessary nutrients your body needs. So him bragging about how anyone can lose weight if they are committed, is just stupid.
