It is amazing how many teenagers and young people in their twenties are going for radical plastic surgery in California and especially in Hollywood! It seems crazy that beautiful young women are convincing themselves that they are not physically perfect and therefore drastically changing their appearances often not necessarily for the better.

For example Hollywood web sites have been buzzing with the information that the seventeen year old sister of Lindsay Lohan has had surgery to her face giving her higher cheek bones and bigger lips. Another young Hollywood star Ashlee Simpson, [sister of Jessica Simpson] who is only 26 is known to have had a nose job, a brow lift, lip plumping and even Botox!
Having plastic surgery at a very young age is only going to make you look older and less fresh and natural. These young women often end up looking like one of the Desperate Housewives despite only being in their twenties. Probably the best example of young plastic surgery overkill is Heidi Montag who now looks completely different despite being only 24.
Psychologist have said that the problem of body dysmorphia is very much in evidence in Hollywood with thousands of women meticulously comparing each other and being critical of their appearances in an attempt to try and land starring roles in films. Beautiful women are everywhere in Los Angeles and the plastic surgery industry is busy turning out women with huge breasts and perfect noses to name just a few of the cosmetic procedures they ask for.
It is crazy to think that extremely beautiful women arrive in Los Angeles and are made to feel that they are somehow not up to scratch and will require surgery in order to get ahead. At Ukmedix News we feel that women who have obvious physical imperfections should get surgery especially if they want to work in the entertainment industry but they should also keep an open mind and possibly consider the fact that they are suffering from Hollywood induced body dysmorphia.
