We have seen instances where Viagra pills are made out of cement...

Well done to the customs officials of France who recently intercepted and confiscated nearly 50,000 boxes of a counterfeit version of Viagra. The erectile dysfunction medication looked almost identical to the real boxes of Viagra and only an expert could tell the difference between the two. The fake Viagra medication had originated from India where much of the world’s fake medicines are made.

French Customs Impound Thousands Of Counterfeit Viagra Pills

Earlier this week Ukmedix News reported that the government of India are cracking down on the illegal manufacturers of these counterfeit erectile dysfunction drugs and they should help stop the worldwide trade in these dangerous pills. India is only second to China as the biggest manufacturer of counterfeit erectile dysfunction medication.

This particular shipment of 50,000 boxes of Viagra was destined to end up in the Dominican Republic and it is likely that a number of people will be charged with the illegal attempted importation of the fake Viagra pills. The Customs Directorate of France said that they estimated that the fake Viagra was worth around 3 million euros which shows that the trade in fake medicine is extremely lucrative for the criminals. The customs officers also said that they had seized the fake Viagra at the Charles de Gaulle Airport and that they were extremely pleased with their catch.

Fake erectile dysfunction medication can work and much of the fake Viagra actually has some sildenafil citrate in it, which is the all important active ingredient. However the problem with this type of medication is that very often it is not made in controlled circumstances and the pills do not have a standard amount of active medication in them.

For example Ukmedix News has seen results of testing done on these fake medications which showed that sometimes a pill may have double the amount of the active ingredient in it or none at all. In more severe cases we have seen instances where Viagra pills are made out of cement and covered in a blue dye.

If you are thinking about buying Viagra from an online web site that does not provide a doctor’s prescription the chances are you are buying fake Viagra and you could be putting your health at risk.
