The erectile dysfunction drug Viagra is all over the news again after a court judgment in Australia ordered that a man pay his ex wife over £100,000 in damages after she claimed that she was subjected to sex three times a day because of the potent effects of the impotence drug.

The man who is now 80 years apparently started taking Viagra seven years ago and turned into a sex maniac who was able to have sex far more than previously and much more than is normal for a man in his seventies. The woman claimed that previously her husband had been a normal man and described him as a gentleman but she said the Viagra tablets which he took as much as three times a day turned him into a sex animal.
There’s no question about the fact that Viagra can have it a huge effect on a relationship both positively and negatively. Ukmedix News has seen reports of couples who have become closer and who have fallen in love again after discovering the Viagra drug. However at the same time there are instances in which Viagra can unleash a hidden side of a man and make him play out his frustrations with his previous impotence and insecurities in the bedroom.
Some women report that they had become used to the fact that their husbands would only rarely demand sex or not at all and Viagra suddenly meant that they suddenly had to deal with a sexually rejuvenated man, which upset the balance of their relationship.
In a long term relationship the issue of Viagra or any other erectile dysfunction medication should be treated with care and sensitivity. While it has the potential to strengthen relationships it has been cited in many divorce cases as the fundamental reasons for parting ways.
