Viagra Seller Going To Jail

greatly damaged the confidence that the public have in the safety of medicines

The Criminal Appeal Court in London has confirmed a 4½ year jail sentence for a man who was previously convicted of selling the fake erectile dysfunction medications. The man Mr. Ashish Halai from Elstree was part of a multimillion pound criminal setup which sold counterfeit Viagra, Cialis and Levitra drugs to thousands of men around the United Kingdom.  They also sold fake versions of other drugs such as Propecia for male pattern baldness.

The sale of these erectile dysfunction drugs which went on for a number of years was illegal because the sale and manufacture of any type of medicine requires licences and authorisation from the government. In this case the drugs were made in underground factories based in Pakistan and China which fed distribution networks all over the Far East, Dubai, the West Indies, America and the United Kingdom.

The manufacturers of these drugs use sophisticated equipment which meant that it was virtually impossible to tell the difference between the real Viagra and Cialis tablets and the fake versions of the medicine. At one point the illegal impotence medications ended up being sold in licenced pharmacies in the United Kingdom with both the pharmacists and customers being completely unaware that they were not the real thing.

It is also thought that huge amounts of the fake drugs were shipped to America after having been bought online by men who were attracted to the low prices and the fact that they did not have to get an online prescription. Lord Justice Toulson in his summing up said that these criminal organisations undermined the legitimate drug companies and also greatly damaged the confidence that the public have in the safety of medicines and that for this reason he confirmed the prison sentence.

At Ukmedix News we are aware of the dangers of buying medication online and that is why you should always make sure that a prescription is issued by a British doctor. At the Ukmedix online pharmacy it is possible to even get the address of the pharmacy from where your medication is coming from so that you can check up for yourself that everything is genuine and legal.

I am glad he has gone to jail. What a shame, think about those poor people who spent money on them and prepared for a romantic evening and both their money and their romantic evening was wasted. This is why double checking is a good thing.
