Sharice who is now eight months old looks like a normal healthy baby

The impotence drug Viagra has yet again saved a child. In this case Sharice Dunnon who has a hole in her diaphragm nearly lost her life minutes after being born because when she tried to draw air into her lungs she began suck her stomach into them.

Viagra Saves Baby

Her parents William and Annmarie were told that she only had a 50% chance of surviving but thanks to incredible lifesaving surgery and the use of Viagra to enlarge her arteries she is now living normally. Sharice who is now eight months old looks like a normal healthy baby.

Viagra is now becoming an accepted part of treatment for babies born with heart and lung defects and has been responsible for saving hundreds of young lives. Pfizer who manufacture the Viagra drug also produce an identical version called Revatio which is used by men and women suffering from pulmonary arterial hypertension. In both cases it is the properties of the patented compound sildenafil citrate that makes the arteries expand and produces better blood flow. Those men using Revatio to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension will also be pleased to know that their erectile function is much improved too.

Doctors have spoken about the surprise on the faces of parents when they tell them that their little child was saved with the use of Viagra! Many of them are incredulous and some of them have even been worried that the drug might cause sexual side effects in their children. Pfizer have pledged to continue research and development into new uses for Viagra which could even end up with the drug being used as a way to prevent heart attacks and cure many different types of circulatory illnesses.

The other erectile dysfunction drugs Cialis and Levitra have also been put to use to prevent circulation problems in children and adults and research by their manufacturers Eli Lilly and Bayer respectively is ongoing.

This is such good news, it is also good to know that this drug, which has been very controvertial in the past is now saving peoples lives. I have to say I admire the doctor who first used it to save a child.

Sildenafil (Viagra) was intended to treat pulmonary disorders, it was only when the "side effect" was discovered that it began being marketed as a cure for ED. While it is a great story about little Sharice, she is hardly the first child to be perscribed sildenafil. My son has been using it treat his PAH since he was a year old.
