The word Viagra is not merely a word used to describe a particular erectile dysfunction drug made by the drug company Pfizer but is now used in literally hundreds of other applications. For example if somebody said “my salary needs some Viagra” everybody would know exactly what he or she meant. Politicians have been describing how the economy needs Viagra, employers talk about giving their staff motivational Viagra and fast cars are described as having Viagra in the fuel tank.

The latest application for the word Viagra which is now becoming common usage is the ‘Viagra handshake’. A Viagra handshake is one which is obviously extremely firm and hard and is being recommended by lifestyle coaches and human resource managers as being effective for showing confidence and a dynamic personality. The author Stephen Viscusi who wrote the book ‘Bulletproof Your Job’ says that having a Viagra handshake could be the difference between getting a job or not.
Viagra which is over ten years old now is credited with revolutionising relationships especially for older men whose erectile function had weakened with age. Hugh Hefner the founder of Playboy Magazine often credits Viagra with changing his life and getting him out of a depression which was directly linked to poor erectile function as he got older.
The Viagra drug has at times been the subject of much controversy as some people say that it has destroyed some relationships. Viagra gives confidence to older men to leave their long term wives and have relationships with younger women. On the other hand Viagra has cemented relationships especially those which have waned because of an erectile dysfunction problem.
Ukmedix News believes that erectile dysfunction drugs should always be used responsibly and only with a prescription from a doctor.
