Fake Viagra In Dubai

The booming city of Dubai in the Middle East has become a major shipping hub for illegal supply of fake Viagra the erectile dysfunction medication. Dubai is perfectly located in the middle of the world to be the recipient and also the distributor for fake Viagra. It is close to India and China which are the 2 biggest manufacturers of the fake Viagra and it is also fast becoming a big international city with contacts for distribution to Europe, the Medicterannean countries and also Russia and its surrounding countries.

In Dubai, customs officials said that of the fake medication they stopped over 40% came from Far East last year and 35% originated in the north part of Asia. The Viagra drug was the most copied drug found by the Dubai customs and this is of great concern to the health officials in Dubai. They say that much of the illegal Viagra is not made properly and doesn't contain the right doses of the active ingredient sildenafil citrate. Illegal Viagra is rarely sold with a prescription and thus the chances of health complications for its users is much greater.

Intellectual property lawyers working for Pfizer are also increasingly concerned about the Dubai supply of Viagra as well as the boom of counterfeit drugs all over the world. Viagra takes the number one spot for being the most copied drug in the world and the internet has made its illegal sale that much easier. There are large numbers of Indians working in Dubai who like to use the drug and find the fake versions cheaper.

The fake drugs are finding their way into shops and despite efforts by the police to clamp down on the suppliers the demand for the Viagra always seems to get the Viagar back on the shelves soon. Viagra is the world's best selling erectile dysfunction medication.
