Viagra In Coffee

The Malaysian Health Ministry in a recent drive to stop the sale of prescription drugs illegally has been doing clinical testing on products suspected of containing more than the labelling says. In its latest find it has revealed that a company that makes coffee has been adding Viagra in small doses to the coffee powder.

The coffee known as Kopi Kuat was being sold in open markets in Malaysia as a specially strong coffee and was much more expensive than most coffees. This prompted the health officials to move in and send some samples to the laboratory for testing. The laboratory workers were stunned to find that it contained sildenafil commonly known as Viagra and immediately informed the health officials.

The particular coffee had been tested before and registered for sale in Malaysia before but the ingredients had obviously changed over the course of time and the Viagra added to the coffee to make it more attractive to buyers.

The use of sildenafil citrate in Malaysia is limited strictly to the Viagra pill and putting it in coffee powder is highly illegal as well as extremely dangerous. Viagra is only available with prescription in Malaysia and it is always a good idea to check with a doctor before using Viagra as it can react with other medicines you may be taking and cause serious health issues.

The Malaysian Helath Ministry said it would continue to do random checks on products available for sale in Malaysia especially health products and check that the ingredients were as stated. Erectile dysfunction medication is often disguised as tea or as natural herbal products in the Far East and buyers should be careful when shopping for health products in these countries.
