Viagra has changed the world

The world famous erectile dysfunction medication Viagra is nearly ten years old!!

Happy 10th Birthday Viagra

Viagra has been credited with changing the world of sex as we knew it and has been responsible for the restoration as well as the collapse of many relationships. In some cases a newfound sexual intimacy enabled couples to communicate better and to resolve all their differences but in other relationships where sexual activity had long been forgotten about difficult problems reared their head. Social anthropologists say that Viagra started a social revolution which can be compared to the one that started with the advent of “The Pill”.

A recent article in the Guardian newspaper of the United Kingdom has investigated the way that Viagra has changed the world and whether it has been overall a “force for good”.  The Guardian claims that 37 million Viagra tablets have been prescribed and it is likely that the actual number of men who have taken a Viagra copy is similar. It is estimated that around 30 million men have been prescribed Viagra around the world and probably closer to 100 million men have tried either Viagra, Cialis, Levitra or some sort of medication that contains the active ingredients.

At Ukmedix News we have heard of many cases where Viagra has been very destructive to relationships in that it enables a man to have sex more often and therefore he is more likely to cheat on his wife and try and take up with a younger woman. Divorce lawyers say that Viagra is increasingly becoming a reason why couples break up.

One thing that Viagra done however is to remove the stigma and the taboo of impotence which previously had been a subject which was almost never discussed. Viagra and the internet came along at more or less the same time and together they were a force for good in that people could get help for serious erectile dysfunction problems and also find information about erectile dysfunction anonymously without fear of being “found out”.

Web sites like Ukmedix have enabled men to have a doctor’s consultation online without having to actually sit face to face with a doctor and have also allowed men a safe and legal way of getting prescription erectile dysfunction medication online.
