The company has not paid out dividends to investors now for over two months and the Chinese government has issued a complete news blackout on the scandal which some people suspect means that some high government officials are involved in the fraud. Investors have been demanding an explanation from government officials and thousands of them staged a big protest outside government buildings in Shenyang saying that the government should step in and guarantee the payments that are due.
