In a surprise move the AIDS Healthcare Foundation that claims to be the largest AIDS HIV advisory and healthcare provider in the United States is suing the pharmaceutical giant Pfizer. The AIDS Healthcare Foundation runs AIDS treatment clinics free of charge in North and South America, Africa, The Caribbean and Asia and is coming out angrily saying that the use of the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra that is made3 by Pfizer is a major reason why the AIDS disease is being transmitted so much.
The AIDS Healthcare Foundation is claiming that the marketing of Viagra has not been responsible and that it is not being aimed at men who have a serious erectile dysfunction problem but at younger men who are using the drug for recreational purposes. They are argue that as a result men reckon that they can go out and get drunk and consume illegal drugs and then perform perfectly in bed as the Viagra will come to their aid.
The problem is that very often when men are under the influence of alcohol or drugs they will not make sensible decisions and thus they often have unprotected sex at this time. The AIDS Healthcare Foundation claim that this is causing the increase in AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases especially with gay men who use meths and then Viagra for promiscuous bouts of sexual activity.
In the legal arguments the AIDS Healthcare Foundation will argue that there is a lot of evidence that Viagra is causing a serious AIDS heath problem and that Pfizer must be made to be responsible for this and that the using of Viagra must be curtailed for the problem to slow down.
In the last decade since the arrival of Viagra the number of elderly people who have been getting STD’s and AIDS has also risen dramatically as more and more older people are engaging in sex thanks to Viagra and other erectile dysfunction drugs. Older people often believe that they don’t need to use condoms because at their age there is no chance of pregnancy but their age doesn’t protect them from AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases.
