An agreement signed between the American and Chinese governments is likely to strengthen the export regulations for medicine and drugs leaving China. This could have a good effect on bringing down the huge numbers of fake erectile dysfunction products on the market. The American government has been pressuring the Chinese government for some time to stop the export of bulk pharmaceutical compounds which often end up in the United States and in Europe. These compounds are often the key ingredients in the erectile dysfunction medications Viagra, Cialis or Levitra and are largely of as substandard and unregulated type.

The Vice Premier Mr. Wu Yi has been heading a campaign to stop the export of dangerous medications from China which come from unlicensed chemical producing companies. In the agreement it was specifically mentioned that compound sildenafil which is the active ingredient in Viagra will not be permitted to be exported from China without proper authorisation from the Chinese regulators.
Much of this fake Viagra compound ends up in so-called natural erectile dysfunction medication which is purchased in health shops in the United States. Even more of it is also sold on the internet very cheaply and without prescriptions which are required by law. The United States customs said that China could not keep on turning a blind eye to the manufacturing process of the Viagra in their country and they are very pleased with this new agreement.
It is reckoned that in the near future the American and Chinese government will be able to sit down and include many more different medicines on the list of those requiring special paperwork for export from China. There are hundreds of other counterfeit drugs being made in China which need to be clamped down upon. The United Nations has recently admitted that there is a huge problem worldwide with fake medication of all types many of which originate in China and in India.
