Imagine working for a company like Pfizer or Lilly who make the erectile dysfunction medications Viagra and Cialis? We were just thinking in the Ukmedix Newsroom that we have enough problems sending each other e-mails because the spam filters regularly filter out any messages with the words Viagra and Cialis in them, but think of if your whole work centered around erectile dysfunction medications!

Pfizer is well aware that Viagra is the number one spammed product in the world and thus they the have a whole security division dedicated to stamping out illegal spam Viagra email. Pfizer is not giving away any secrets but there's no doubt that they have been having successes over the last two years because if you speak to most people they will say that they rarely get spam Viagra email these days.
The thing with spam filters however is that they often pick up genuine email and thus people complain that they have to set the spam filters low in order to make sure that they get all the emails sent to them. The word 'Cialis' is often problematic because it appears in other words such as specialise, specialist, socialize and others so a harmless email can end up in the junk mail folder.
If you send email and you don't get a reply don't automatically assume that the person is ignoring you because it may be that they just didn't get it. Sending a read receipt or following up the e-mail with a phone call is a better idea than just taking offence at being ignored.
If you are expecting an important e-mail it's not a bad idea to put the e-mail address or the whole domain name on your safe senders list just to be sure that it gets through.
