A police raid in Spain has uncovered a huge haul of fake Viagra tablets which were destined to be sold online. The Spanish police said that in all over 9,000 counterfeit Viagra tablets had been seized from a criminal organisation operating in the city of Alicante.

The police said that they believe the tablets had been made in illegal factories in India and China and that the idea was to sell them online without the use of prescriptions as required by law. A number of arrests were made which they hope will lead to convictions under Spanish pharmaceutical drug laws.
Since individual countries in the European Union have started to share information about investigations that they are conducting into the problem of counterfeit erectile dysfunction medication being sold online the number of arrests have risen considerably. More publicity is however needed to warn individuals about the dangers of buying counterfeit medication online in order for the demand for prescription-free fake Viagra to dry up.
Pfizer who manufacture Viagra have been heavily promoting the dangers of buying counterfeit versions of the drug with a shocking video which was almost banned by the Advertising Standards Authority in the United Kingdom.
At Ukmedix News we believe that many men who become sick as a result of using fake Viagra never admit that they used it for fear of embarrassment and humiliation. It is one thing to admit that you have an erectile dysfunction problem but to admit that you got sick from using a fake Viagra tablet shows that you are stupid as well as have impotence something which most men would rather not face.
Ukmedix News recently published research which showed that 25% of British doctors have at sometime treated people who became sick because of the use of counterfeit medication purchased online. It was also reported that a further eight percent of doctors believe that they have treated individuals who were too embarrassed to admit they had used counterfeit medication. Counterfeit Viagra is the most purchased illegal drug online and is thought to be responsible for the majority of cases that the doctors were referring to.
At Ukmedix you can check whether your medicines are genuine by using the Pharmacheck system.
