The drug company Pfizer which makes the best selling impotence medication Viagra recently undertook a study which shows that 95 percent of both men and women reckon the sexual confidence of the man is an important if not essential ingredient for good sex. The study which was carried out in twelve European nations also reported that 84 percent of men believed that the single factor which gives men sexual confidence is their ability to give their partners pleasure. Seventy five percent of women agreed with this too.

Other findings were that 1/3 of all women reckon that their men would like to have harder erections which they said would improve their sex lives. Different countries seem to elicit slightly different responses in this regard with 83 percent of Spanish men admitting that they would like to have harder erections, whereas only 80 percent of men in Turkey said the same and only 76 percent in Italy. In Germany the difference was statistically significant with only 40 percent saying that they would like to have harder erections.
From our experience at Ukmedix News we know the differences in the responses could be influenced by cultural and ‘macho’ factors and researchers should always keep an open mind when analysing the results of erectile function surveys. In all over eight and a half thousand men and women were interviewed for this erectile function survey and over 90 percent of them linked a lack of sexual confidence with a lack of general confidence in daily activities.
In the UK 62 percent of men said that they would like harder erections, in France the figure was 57 percent, in Belgium 50 percent, in Sweden 47 percent, both Romania and Denmark 46 percent, in the Netherlands 42 percent and in Finland the figure 41 percent. At Ukmedix News we know how important good erectile function is for good psychological health and wellbeing in a man and we have always stressed that impotence is not just a physical illness but also one which can lead to depression, anxiety and a whole list of other stress related problems.
