use of the medication shows no adverse events

More research has been done into gene therapy for the cure of erectile dysfunction using a remedy called Maxi-K. Ukmedix News has already reported on the Phase one clinical study which showed that the treatment was safe and did have potential for helping men who suffered from impotence and now further testing which has been continuing for a couple of years shows that overall the results are very promising.

Maxi-K Gene Therapy Could Cure Impotence

The manufacturers of the Maxi-K gene treatment say that when using this therapy sex can be spontaneous and it is also able to be used by men who are not able to take the impotence drugs Viagra, Cialis and Levitra because they are also taking medication for their hearts.

While the new trial results are limited as they only involved a small amount of men it shows that the over a time frame of two years and with repeated and different dosages there are no dangerous side effects. The Maxi-K gene transfer treatment is administered in the way of an injection which can work for up to six months meaning that man can experience good erectile function in this period spontaneously without having to take a tablet.

This treatment requires further testing before it can be given full approval in America and the UK but it is an extremely good start that continuous use of the medication shows no adverse events which would stop the testing in its tracks.

The treatment has been extensively tested on monkeys and has shown not only to produce better erectile function but to also increase intimacy and the “love aspect” of sexual intercourse. The researchers also noted that not only did the treated monkeys have better erectile function but they also had sex far more often.

Ukmedix News is keen to see further testing done on this fascinating new treatment and we know that men who are unable to use the erectile dysfunction drugs Viagra, Cialis and Levitra are waiting hopefully for the next phase testing of this gene transfer therapy.
