Matt Cardle obviously knows all about performance anxiety! When admitting that he would love to try and hook up with Rihanna who he sang an X. Factor duet with, he said that if it came down to sex with her he would have to take 'a bluey!'

What he meant by this is because Rihanna is so beautiful and sexy he would be nervous about making love to her and this could materialize itself in the form of erectile dysfunction. By taking a 'bluey' (Viagra) he would boost his confidence enough to make sure that he did not have any erection problems!

The way Matt Cardle talks about this means that he obviously has previously had performance anxiety problems which have led to erectile dysfunction and that he is also aware of the powerful effect of Viagra. In fact Matt spelt it out when he said 'when you are with really good looking girls the pressure is on!'

It seems crazy that some men are able to perform better when they are with women who are not as good looking and that when their ultimate fantasy comes along they panic and are unable to rise to the action.

Well at Ukmedix News we have some advice for Matt. Firstly the fact that he has had episodes of erectile dysfunction at his age of only 27 is almost certainly linked to the fact that he smokes and he should know that performance anxiety related erectile dysfunction will be the least of his problems if he continues to smoke.

Not only is he an idiot for smoking in the first place but the fact that he is a singer makes him doubly stupid. He has been quoted as saying that 'some of the best singers in the world smoke' and 'when you quit it's detrimental to your voice' which are pretty pathetic excuses to continue risking not only his health, but also his newfound fame and riches. But then again he is addicted, and addicts talk all sorts of rubbish to justify their habits.

Unfortunately for Matt he is surrounded by bad influences in the form of Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole both of whom smoke. Let's hope that he sorts out his addiction before he loses the two most valuable things he owns namely his voice and his erectile function.
