Marijuana Is Not Viagra Says Magistrate

A court in Trinidad recently heard how a man who was arrested for possessing the drug marijuana claimed that it worked better than the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra. Lawyer Subhas Panday speaking on behalf of his client Mr. Bal Birju explained how the marijuana was needed to boost his sexual function after a hard day of work.

Mr. Birju who is 57 years old was found with 30 grams of the banned drug and explained that a friend had recommended he use marijuana as opposed to erectile dysfunction medication. The Magistrate Melvin Daniel didn’t take his argument seriously and fined him $2,500 with the condition that he paid it within six weeks or he would spend six months in prison.
In fact at Ukmedix News we have reported on how marijuana can in fact increase the likelihood of suffering from erectile dysfunction. Not only when you smoke marijuana you also smoke tobacco which is directly linked to higher rates of erectile dysfunction, but the marijuana itself has been shown to lower testosterone levels in men too.
Mr. Birju would probably argue that the marijuana relaxed him and this can be conducive to good erectile function but in the long term you would only do himself harm.
There are so many old wives tales speculating about what improves erectile function which need to be ignored. Every single country has its own ridiculous remedies which have no clinical evidence to support them. The only remedies for the medical condition of impotence which have been proven to be effective and safe are the trio of prescription drugs Viagra, Cialis and Levitra.
If you try and cure yourself using anything other than these you are wasting your time and you could even be putting your health in danger.
