Jake Gyllenhaal plays the part of a womanizing pharmaceutical rep

In an example of how seriously Hollywood actors take their roles these days Jake Gyllenhaal decided to learn everything there was to learn about Viagra in order to convincingly play his part in the just released film Love and Other Drugs. He even claims that he went as far as to pitch the Viagra drug to real doctors to see if he could remember all the Viagra information such as side effects and contraindications.

In Love and Other Drugs, Jake Gyllenhaal plays the part of a womanizing pharmaceutical rep who meets Maggie Murdock played by Anne Hathaway. The film which has lots of steamy sex scenes has been alternatively described as a romantic comedy, a drama and a take on the reality of life. Anne Hathaway plays a psychologically messed up artist suffering from Parkinson's disease and is proving herself as A List Hollywood material.

In an interview Jake Gyllenhaal was asked whether he had actually tried the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra himself but he refused to answer the question. This probably means that he has tried it and just doesn't want to talk about it because if he had never used it he would have happily just said no. In fact he replied by saying that there were "some things I have to keep for myself."

Men who don't actually need Viagra are always tempted to try it because they wonder whether it will turn them into a five times a night sex stud. At Ukmedix News however we would advise men who don't need the drug to stay away from it and just wait till the day when they do. If you get used to superior erectile function as a result of Viagra use when you are in your twenties you might find it difficult to have sex without it in the future.
