Give That Man Viagra...

required for his basic quality of life

Viagra by court order! A judge in Sweden has ruled that local authorities must be responsible for subsidising a man’s prescriptions for the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra, because they said it was essential for his sexual health and required for his basic quality of life.

Give That Man Viagra...

The 30 year old man who comes from the city of Gothenburg in the western part of Sweden recently conquered an addiction that led him to become impotent but which was treatable with Viagra.

The Viagra drug is not included on the list of drugs in Sweden which are available free from the national health authorities however the court ruling may set a precedent which could change that. The court argued that this particular case was similar to a previous case in which a man was found to be actually suffering harm because of an inability to produce an erection for sex.

The problem of whether erectile dysfunction entitles a man to free medical care paid for by the state has been discussed in practically every single first world country around the globe. National health statutes tend to say that any essential medication should be given out free of charge but at what point does Viagra, Cialis or Levitra become essential?

Also unlike other medications Viagra tends to be used on demand and therefore this poses even more problems because if a man is given the right to have Viagra surely he is allowed to have as much sex as he wants to be able to have sex when he pleases?

Providing free Viagra, Cialis or Levitra on the state would place a huge financial burden in many countries and one which could not be sustained and for this reason it is unlikely to happen. Unfortunately because of the costs of erectile dysfunction drugs many people turn to fake versions which are often useless and even dangerous.

At Ukmedix News we believe that the way forward is for governments to subsidise the sale of all legal prescription erectile dysfunction medication to allow it to be accessible and cheap for all men.
