Fake Viagra Sellers Going To Prison

Federal law enforcement officers in America specialising in the prosecution of people who manufacture dangerous medical supplements are pretty pleased with themselves after three directors of a company pleaded guilty to criminal charges. The directors of the companies Ultra Health Products, Bionate International and Johnston-Keay were accused of promoting and selling supplements which had not been correctly labeled and which could have caused harm to people who used them.

Fake Viagra Sellers Going To Prison

One of the products was called Vinarol which was promoted as a herbal supplements for erectile dysfunction when in fact it was laced with the active ingredient of the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra. The prosecutors said that their investigations had shown that the active chemicals had been smuggled into America from China and that huge amounts of the supplements had been sold making millions of dollars in profits.  Despite the huge profits, taxes were not declared and the Inland Revenue is also pressing charges in this case.

In all it is estimated that Mr. Timothy Isaac could spend as many as 29 years in prison and receive over a million dollars in fines. His co-conspirators could go to prison for three years and get $250,000 in fines.

This case highlights just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to fake erectile dysfunction supplements. There are no clinically proven medications to help men who suffer from erectile dysfunction other than Viagra, Cialis and Levitra. If you use anything else other than these prescription medications you’re not only putting your health in danger but you are likely to be funding criminal organisations who will use your money for possibly more criminal activities.

At Ukmedix News we have campaigned long and hard for stricter rules to be put into place in both America and in Europe to regulate the supplement industry which has got out of hand. We suggest that all new health supplements should be subjected to clinical testing so that the exact ingredients can be properly labeled and illegally manufactured powerful prescription medications can be prevented from being added to them.
