illegally accessed user accounts to send messages about fake versions of Viagra

The legendary social interaction site Facebook is fighting back against spam and has just been awarded a huge $711 million payout against a company called Sanford Wallace who illegally accessed user accounts to send messages about fake versions of the erectile dysfunction drugs Viagra, Cialis and Levitra. In fact this is not the first time the Facebook has scored a legal victory against spammers because previously it was awarded a staggering $873 million against a company called Atlantis Blue Capital who were accused of doing the same.

Facebook Getting Tough On Viagra Spam

It is unlikely that Facebook will see much of the money because it is probable that the spammers will be unable to pay them, however it should serve as a warning to spammers around the world that they will be hounded by the courts in the United States if they continue to flout rules and regulations regarding internet commerce. Ukmedix News has written loads of articles about the problem of spam emails which not only clog up Inboxes but also are often linked to credit card fraud, the sale of substandard and dangerous medication as well as organised crime syndicates all around the world.

Spammers never offer genuine erectile dysfunction drugs but instead rely on cheaply made copies which have not been subjected to the same level of scrutiny as Viagra, Cialis and Levitra have. Spammers also are far more interested in getting your credit card details than they are about your health. Ukmedix News has reported on a group of internet researchers who decided to reply to spam email for impotence meds and found that in the majority of cases nothing ever turned up in the post and money was taken from their credit cards illegally.

Spammers rely on the fact that you will be too embarrassed to call your bank and explain why you handed over your credit card details in reply to a spam email and thus you end up out of pocket. It is possible to buy drugs legally and safely online in the United Kingdom in a way which allows you to check the address of the UK pharmacy from which your drugs are being dispensed from.

Look at the Pharmacheck section of the Ukmedix web site for more information.
