Pfizer are only going to sell the Viagra Jet tablets in Mexico for the meantime

Men in Mexico now have an alternative to regular Viagra tablets in that they can choose to go for a chewable version of Pfizer's famous impotence drug. Instead of having to go and get some water to swallow the little blue pill they can just chew on it now.

The new chewable Viagra tablets have been branded as Viagra Jet which makes them sound pretty cool. Because they are chewable they will be absorbed into the bloodstream faster than the regular Viagra tablets thus earning themselves the 'Jet' name.

Pfizer who have been developing the Viagra Jet tablets for the last four years in Mexico said that as well as working faster than the normal Viagra tablets they would also be useful for men who had problems swallowing tablets. Not being able to swallow pills is not uncommon and many people have to crush up tablets in order to ingest them.

Pfizer who are only going to sell the Viagra Jet tablets in Mexico for the meantime said that they would study the market and the response before trying to rollout the chewable tablets in other countries. Mexico is the largest South American consumer of Viagra after Brazil with about 3 million tablets sold every year.

One of the big challenges for the manufacturers of erectile dysfunction meds is to get it to work faster. Many men say that because sex is often spontaneous having to get a glass of water and then wait for up to half an hour in order for the drug to take effect has a detrimental effect on the magic moment and sometimes completely ruins it.

If the popularity of Viagra Jet tablets really takes off it will tempt the manufacturers of Cialis and Levitra to come up with similar products. Who knows what Eli Lilly will come up with, Cialis Turbo? And as for Bayer how about Levitra Nitro?
