Fresh reports in the Ukmedix Newsroom show that the lethal bird flu may have spread to another farm in Suffolk. It is not 100 percent confirmed that the second farm in Suffolk actually had been infected with the H5N1 bird flu virus but officials say that as a precaution they have culled all the turkeys at a farm called Grove Farm in the village of Bottesdale.

It appears that some of the turkeys had already died and officials were concerned that it was possible that the bird flu virus had killed them. Tests will obviously be done to check the cause of the death of the 30 turkeys that were found dead.
In all over five and a half thousand turkeys were culled at Grove Farm which in fact lies within the 3km exclusion zone which was placed around Redgrave Park Farm where the original bird flu outbreak was located earlier last week. All farmers are being advised that they must keep their poultry inside until further notice and the all clear is given.
All people who have been in contact with the birds at both of the farms have been given the influenza medication Tamiflu as a precaution. Not only this, but anybody who will be working on the infected farms is going to be given Tamiflu before they start work.
While the bird flu virus has not infected any human in the United Kingdom to date it is important that individuals are made aware of the fact that according to official figures from the World Health Organisation over 200 people in Asia and in other countries have died from being infected with the bird flu virus. It is extremely difficult to catch it at the moment but it is probable to mutate into a form in the future which will make it more contagious.
