Is my tamiflu real?

Don’t get fooled……

Ukmedix only dispenses genuine Roche Tamiflu

We find that when it comes to taking medicines you can never be too safe; after all if they are going to save your life you need to know that they are real – no? It only then follows to say that with all the fake medications being sold worldwide, UK Medix have found that it is absolutely imperative that you check your Tamiflu is real. Fake or generic versions of the medication may be unsafe and even illegal as they are not regulated by any governing medical body and so are likely to contain harmful substances.

Its easy enough for us to say that you can never be too safe and you must check your medicines, but how do you check? Besides choosing the right place to get your medication from whether it be through a walk-in consult or an online consultation, its always worth checking. And so, in order to help you decipher the authenticity of your medications we, at UK Medix, have devised a point by point walk through process to figure out whether your Tamiflu is real or not. We have set it out in 3 simple stages for ease and recommend that you proceed through the steps below in the order shown to see if your Tamiflu is real:

1. How does your Tamiflu arrive?

a) Your Tamiflu arrives in a plastic bag or brown paper bag - it's fake; or from a questionable source
or b) Your Tamiflu arrives in one of the types of packaging shown below (Fig A ) - go to 2.
2. Was your Tamiflu dispensed from a licensed pharmacist?
a) Your Tamiflu arrives with nothing written / no stickers on the packaging – again - probably fake (& certainly not from UK Medix).
or b) It has a licensed pharmacy label with contact details on it as well as your own name and directions on how to take the meds - go to 3.
3. What do the actual Tamiflu pills look like?
a) They have nothing written on them and do not look like Fig B - yep; they're fake
b) They look just like the pills in Figure C and have Roche and 75mg on them – what a relief! - you seem to have the real deal.

Now, if you have gone through all of the 3 stages above and you are still unsure of the authenticity of your medication, Uk Medix recommend that you contact Roche with the batch number of your medication (located on the packaging) and they will be able to verify the batch for you.

UK Medix only dispatch the genuine Roche Tamiflu to our patients, prescribed by our own UK based doctors and dispensed from our UK based pharmacies.
