Jonathan Ross had to cancel his interview with X Factor stars John and Edward

Being rich and famous doesn’t protect you from the swine flu virus as has been evidenced by the fact that the Radio 2 talk show host Jonathan Ross was struck down by the H1N1 virus recently. When you are paid as much as Jonathan Ross is it takes more than just a mild case of flu to make you unable to work and he posted that he felt “ghastly” on his Twitter site. Jonathan Ross is thought to have contracted the virus from his children and has been prescribed the influenza medication Tamiflu.

A case of the swine flu should not be dealt with lightly and even though you should not panic it is important that you take precautions and are sensible. Not going to work is not only a good idea so that you can get rest but also because it means that you won’t infect your fellow co workers. Even though death from swine flu is extremely rare certain groups of people such as the obese are more likely to succumb to the virus.

Jonathan Ross had to cancel his interview with X Factor stars John and Edward (Jedwards) and instead David Tennant and Catherine Tate stepped in to interview them for the program Friday Night With Jonathan Ross.

Tamiflu is considered to be the best medication to beat the effects of the H1N1 swine flu virus and is recommended for this by not only the World Health Organisation but also the European Medicines Authority of the European Union and the Medicines and Healthcare and products Regulatory Agency in the United Kingdom.

Tamiflu which is a prescription medication is thought to have saved thousands of lives around the world not only in treating the swine flu virus but also because of its effectiveness in treating the more dangerous H5N1 bird flu virus.

I had swine flu last April and I was given Tamiflu. It was the worst flu I have ever had I just cannot imagine what it would have been like if I did not have it.
