The Food & Drug Administration has yet again warned people about buying fake versions of the influenza medication Tamiflu after a number of web sites which claimed to be have ‘generic’ Tamiflu were pinpointed by an undercover operation.

The FDA said the counterfeit versions of Tamiflu contained cloxacillin which could cause anaphylaxis in some patients who were allergic to penicillin antibiotics. They also said that this ‘generic’ Tamiflu contained none of the correct active ingredient namely Oseltamivir, despite the fact that the packages were clearly labeled Oseltamivir Phosphate 75 mg. The FDA said that the potentially lethal influenza medication was manufactured by TRYDRUGS Pharmaceuticals.
The FDA uncovered the scam by ordering the generic Tamiflu online and the packaging arrived from India where much of the world’s fake medication is made. The FDA has over the last few years beefed up its operations to stop the trade in counterfeit medications around the world.
Anybody who buys Tamiflu online should always make sure that it comes with a prescription and that an online consultation with a UK registered doctor is part of the process. Because Ukmedix is aware of the concerns of UK consumers regarding the purchase of influenza medications online they set up Pharmacheck which allows individuals to make direct contact with the ‘bricks and mortar’’ high street pharmacies. This allows customers to firstly verify that there is something real and legitimate behind the website façade and secondly to have peace of mind that what they are buying is genuine.
If you are unsure about the process of any aspect of ordering medications online you should avoid purchasing online. Many of the fraudulent websites have names which suggest that they are based in the United Kingdom when in fact they are operating from foreign countries well out of reach of UK law enforcement authorities.

These people should be locked up for life! They are playing around with peoples' lives and could do them harm and in some cases they could die. Where are the authorities and why do they still manage to sell fakes when supposidly they are onto them? Please someone can you give me an answer because this is frightening me.
