just because they are pregnant they have a green light to eat unhealthily

Bethenny Frankel, the food chef and reality TV star who appears in The Real Housewives of New York has been accused by tabloid newspapers of getting a tummy tuck after her pregnancy. They said that it was almost impossible to lose 29 pounds in 3 weeks naturally and she must have had surgery./p>

bethenny frankel denies tummy tuck rumours
She is defending herself saying that she ate normally and healthily during and after her pregnancy which is why she is in good shape now. Her diet book "Naturally Thin" published by the NY Times speaks against tummy tucks because they are not a natural way of living and also because they are contrary to her way of thinking as a natural foods chef. After the birth of her daughter Bryn, Bethenny Frankel took up walking and practicing yoga as well as continuing her rule of not overeating during her pregnancy.

Bethenny Frankel also said that many women think that just because they are pregnant they have a green light to eat unhealthily. She said they blame the extra weight that they put on as baby weight when in fact it is unhealthy fat. These women should make more of an effort to eat healthily not only for themselves but also for the health of their babies.

Clinical research has shown that mothers who eat healthily throughout their pregnancy produce healthier, more intelligent and stronger babies.  They also reduce the likelihood of any birth complications and there is also some evidence that future obesity can be linked to unhealthy diets in the womb.

On the other side of the scale those women who are unhealthily underweight and eat very little to maintain skinny frames should remember that their usual diet of a few lettuce leaves will not be sufficient when they are pregnant.

it is in fact unhealthier to eat too little when pregnant. The baby needs you to be well nourished to get the best of you. i.e. they need healthy bones and joints and teath and hair. Not too much food but not too little food, just healthy eating and some exercise.
