irresponsible to let a thirteen year old have plastic surgery?

A nose job at 13? Isn't this a little bit early to start reconstructing your face especially as you are still growing!? In the case of Nicolette Taylor however her parents have justified their decision to allow her to have surgery on the basis that she was getting bullied and this was causing her a lot of emotional distress./p>

thirteen year old gets nose job
You would never guess that Nicolette Taylor would have grown up to have a big nose as she was a beautiful child model appearing in magazines and baby clothing catalogues. Unfortunately however she broke her nose at the age of three and also when she was eight which resulted in having a bit of a bump on the bridge of her nose.

Nicolette who comes from Long Island, New York said that she was not only being teased at school but she was getting unpleasant comments on Facebook with people posting insults about her nose. Originally her mother said that she could have a nose job when she reached the age of eighteen but when she saw how upset her child was she consented to allow her to go ahead right away.

As a parent we can imagine that it's kind of difficult to decide whether to allow your child to go ahead and have plastic surgery. Many parents would probably say that it was absolutely irresponsible to let a thirteen year old have plastic surgery but then these parents probably have beautiful children and they haven't seen the hurt and anguish that teenagers suffer from when they are teased about their appearances.

Nicolette said that she was so happy about her new nose and that she cried tears of happiness when she saw herself following her surgery. Dr Sam Rizk, the surgeon who performed the rhinoplasty operation said that 25 percent of his nose jobs are done on teenagers.

I totally agree with her parents, bullying will do her more harm than the surgery!

If her nose was broken it is normal to want to fix it, what would you do if it was yours?
