Shop around! don't just go to one plastic surgeon!
When looking for a prospective rhinoplasty [nose job] cosmetic surgeon there are a number of simple checks that you should make before handing over your money and agreeing to let the surgeon rearrange your nose. /p>
The next thing to ask about is before and after images of past patients and you should even ask if you can contact some of them to get some feedback. Again, a good surgeon will not be even slightly worried about you contacting his patients because he knows that they are happy with the results. These days it is very easy to make use of digital imaging software in the surgeon's office so that you can see exactly how your new nose will look, not only from a profile view but also from all angles. You should make sure that you have digital imaging copies of the nose that your surgeon intends to give you so that you can compare them with the actual results.
Make sure the surgeon has done rhinoplasty operations which are similar to yours. If your surgeon for example only specializes in removing bumps or slight elevations he or she might not be good for a complete nasal reconstruction.
Shop around! don't just go to one plastic surgeon but go and see quite a few so that you get different opinions and ideas about what is best for you. At the end of the day, you need to use your common sense! don't make an emotional and quick decision to have a rhinoplasty operation but instead talk about it with friends and family and always err on the side of caution.
Your nose is right in the middle of your face so don't mess it up!
