computer imaging software which allows you to see a 3D visual of your face

Many people underestimate the importance of the nose in defining the face and this can lead to poor judgment when going for a rhinoplasty [nose job] operation.  For example you may believe that your nose is too big but it may be in complete harmony with your nose and mouth and by reducing its size you could unbalance your face./p>

get the computer imaging done before having a nose jobA nose job operation must be conducted by not only a skilled surgeon but should also include specialist consultations with individuals who have had experience in advising people how to redefine their noses.

Probably the best piece of advice we can give you have Ukmedix News is to make use of computer imaging software which enables you to see a three dimensional visual of your face before the operation and after. It is no good being shown before and after images of other nose surgeries done on previous patients because it will give you no idea how individual noses look on your face. You should also take a trusted friend with you who knows what you look like and get their opinion on the 3D visuals that the computer imaging software produces.

Most reputable cosmetic surgery clinics today have computer imaging software and it leads to a very high rate of patient satisfaction. A study done by Dr Andrew Frankel from the Lasky Clinic in Beverly Hills, California confirms this.

For his research Doctor Frankel sent the computer generated image and also the 'after' surgery photo to 38 cosmetic surgeons and asked them to rate the accuracy of the surgery. The patients were also asked to rate the accuracy of the results and also whether they were happy with their new nose. Overall the results showed that the plastic surgeons tended to be more discerning about the accuracy of results with more of them giving a lower score for accuracy. The patients who described themselves as happy with their results tended to award higher scores for accuracy than those who were less satisfied with their new noses.

The study which was published in the Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery should encourage all prospective patients of rhinoplasty to make sure they take the time to use computer imaging software to increase the chances of getting a nose that really works for them.

I think if the patients were happier with their new noses than the surgeons were, it is very encouraging to us to know this fact, Thank you!
