Quick facts on Eyelid Surgery

Eyelid surgery

Eyelid surgery involves removing excess muscle, fat and skin from the upper eyelids as well as the lower eyelids to achieve a more youthful appearance (occasionally there is a medical need).

Eyelid surgery is the second most common cosmetic procedure in men.

The removal of excess fat but not skin is the most common form of eyelid surgery (done through a small incision).
