The importance of doing careful research before undergoing cosmetic surgery has been highlighted by a recent death in the United Arab Emirates. In this case an unqualified and unlicensed French doctor attempted to perform breast enlargement surgery on a 24 year old woman from Belarus. /p>

Just because somebody calls himself a plastic surgeon and has a clinic does not mean that they are licensed or qualified. In the same way that you should scrutinise carefully about which bank you deposit your money in you should take extra special care when it comes to your health and ultimately your life.
Some women are so desperate to get plastic surgery in the belief that it will completely change their lives that they agree to undergo breast augmentation with the first doctor they can afford. This is not only dangerous but could lead to botched plastic surgery which will leave you with both physical and emotional scars for the rest of your life.
Every single country around the world has its rogue plastic surgeons that are out to make a quick buck with no concern for your health. Any properly qualified plastic surgeon will have no problem in showing you his certificates, showing you examples of his past surgical procedures and will be happy for you to check his qualifications. Ideally you should speak to previous patients of the same plastic surgeon for complete peace of mind.
The last thing to remember is that plastic surgery is generally expensive and that is because properly staffed clinics require expensive equipment and qualified nurses and doctors who don't come cheap. If you are given prices for plastic surgery which are much cheaper than the rest you should be extremely suspicious.
