a good appearance can pay a substantial dividend in the workplace

More and more plastic surgeons are reporting that women are seeing them for a whole range of cosmetic surgical procedures as a way to boost their job security and further their careers. Ukmedix News has published research previously which shows how investing in a good appearance can pay a substantial dividend in the workplace and more and more women seem to be justifying plastic surgery for work reasons.

Plastic Surgery Used To Keep A Good Job

It is a reality fact of life that despite the ability of women to perform tasks efficiently in the workplace they still are largely judged in many UK industries on the way they look. When women see their better looking and sexier colleagues rising up the corporate ladder they feel threatened and that is why many women resort to plastic surgery.

It might just be a slight facelift operation, a little bit of Botox or more serious procedures like breast implants and nose jobs but they all can make a difference.

Some people we spoke to at Ukmedix News even went as far as to say that a woman who is prepared to undergo the surgical knife in order to look good for work is a woman who is determined to be successful and therefore a woman who you want on your work team.

Another thing which is important to remember is that if your appearance is undermining your confidence it will ultimately affect the quality of your work and the job satisfaction that you get. If you feel good about the way you look the chances are that you will radiate positive energy and this will produce tangible results not only for you but hopefully will have a knock on effect on your work colleagues.

It’s no good thinking that having plastic surgery will immediately boost your pay packet but over time it could give you that extra push to work harder and this could boost your earnings as well as make your job more fun and satisfying.

This article says more about the employers than the employees! How fickle they must be to judge someone by their looks and not their ability.
